Christmas Decoration Ideas

Christmas is upon us and it’s a wonderful opportunity to get creative and decorate your home. We have put our heads together and come up with what we hope are some useful decoration ideas.

Christmas tree

Find a (good shaped) branch and spray or paint silver.

Place it in a vase or bed into a pot.

Hang small dew drop baubles from each branch.

Depending on the size of the branch this looks great in a hall or as a table display.

Alternatively suspend the branch from the ceiling and create a natural chandelier.

Fairy Light Jar

Take some white fairy lights and place into a large Nkuku storage jar.

This is not only quick and easy but is very effective and beautiful.

Recycled Paper Pom Poms

1. Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of recycled newspaper or tissue. Make 1 1/2-inchwide accordion folds, creasing with each fold.

2. Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shapes.

3. Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time

4. Tie a length of monofilament to floral wire for hanging.

If all else fails Nkuku offer a beautiful selection of Christmas decorations at www.nkuku.com.
