This week we thought we would fill you in on Nkuku HQ.  We are based at the old Tweed Mill, in the picturesque village of Dartington in South Devon. It seems a million miles away from the summerhouse in our back garden!  The Mill still has a working waterwheel that generates a small amount of power to the building. It stands in the grounds of the Dartington Estate, at the foot of gorgeous woodland.

During the autumn and winter the leat runs fast and wild, the wind whistles through the trees and sweet chestnuts drop on our door step.  In the spring bluebells appear in the wood and when summer finally makes an appearance we fling open the large mill windows to the sound of the river flowing past and normally someone is sent off to the village shop to buy ice lollies!

There is lovely footpath and cycle track running past the mill, a great place for a lunchtime stroll and eating sandwiches by the river is a wonderful way to pass the time and clear your head before heading back to work.

Nkuku have a showroom and welcome visitors by appointment. www.nkuku.com
