I’m hoping for an Indian summer but even if my hopes don’t come true make sure you make the most the last of summer and the light evenings. This is a magical time to light all those t lights and lanterns and create an ambient mood.  We’ve tried and tested a number of t lights and lanterns at Nkuku, here are some of favourite mood setters. The intricate cut out pattern of our petal t lights is number one for casting pretty shadows.

Our embossed t lights enhance the candlelight and create a soft, gentle light . They come in pretty antique muted colour ways and look beautiful on a table, window sill or mantel piece.  Our glass t lights are hand made from recycled glass .

The beauty of our hanging t lights is that they can be strewn in branches and hung along pieces of cord and string, adding light to little corners and shimmering through tree leaves.

These elegant Evie t lights create quite a centre piece – their rustic silver finish makes the candlelight twinkle and subdues and softens the light creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Our Daya lanterns are perfect for casting pretty patterns and delicate shadows, adding interest to plain walls and offering a Moroccany feel.

These fantastic can lanterns have a punched star image that allows the candle light to shine through. Using candle light adds warmth and intimacy and can transform even the starkest of back drops into a characterful warm haven.
