Behind the Scenes-Nkuku Photo Shoot Part I

Nkuku photo shoots are always an adventure and often involve hurtling down the windy Devon lanes to remote and hidden locations!  This year with the car packed and brimming with our new and exciting finds from India we set off to our first location Hazelwood House.  Hazelwood House is nestled deep into the Devon valleys and offers bed and breakfast accommodation as well as events and yoga retreats.

In the grounds of the house we found a fantastic old Cricket Pavilion which was the perfect place to shoot our new Eva Tiffins and Bansi Jute Bags. We also took some atmospheric lifestyle shots in the ramshackled interior!

With the Cricket Pavilion positioned deep in the grounds of Hazelwood House we had the daily slog of carrying all of our Nkuku products down through the orchards and over old stone walls….. (Next year we will not be launching chunky wood chopping boards!!!) but who can complain when the sun is shining and you’re having fun, we even made a little canine friend called Lily!
