The Idana baskets are handcrafted by an NGO group of women in rural India. The baskets are carefully and skilfully crafted by hand, from the raw crop to yarn fibre, the natural dyes right through to the unique coiling technique and finally the stitching that binds the basket together. The result is this characterful and textured Idana wall art. The swirls of the pattern add an interesting illusion and the scale and quality of each basket is truly exceptional.
